Because these thin sheets are harder than our other 304 stainless steel, they offer better wear resistance. The addition of molybdenum gives 316 stainless steel excellent corrosion resistance. Use it as a wrap, liner, or cover in a variety of marine and chemical-processing applications. This material maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1500° F.
