The products that will be produced in the park will include stainless steel sheets, coils, and foils. Jindal Stainless plans to produce 300,000 tonnes of stainless steel annually at the park. The company has already invested Rs. 600 crore in the project and plans to invest an additional Rs. 1,000 crore over the next three years.
Employment opportunities
Jindal Stainless is set to build India’s first stainless steel park in Odisha. The park will spread over an area of 1,000 acres and will have a production capacity of 1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). It will include a captive power plant, a water treatment plant, and a sewage treatment plant.
The project is expected to generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for over 10,000 people. It will also contribute to the development of the region by providing infrastructure and economic growth.
